Starting this month, visitors to Seattle’s Burke Museum can enjoy a little slice of Siberia. Photographer (Polaris Project 2009 & 2010 field seasons) Chris Linder was awarded two honorable mentions in the 2012 International Conservation Photography Awards. One image depicts Arctic cotton grass; another shows the eroding riverbank landscape of Duvannyi Yar. The exhibit, showing 75 winning photographs from the biennial competition, will run through November 25th, 2012.
