I just got a satellite phone call from Sue Natali to report that the Polaris group had just returned from a successful trip to Duvannyi Yar. The internet at the Station is apparently down for a few days, so they wanted to let people know that all is well. Spirits are high, projects are underway, science is being done! Though I spent the day in Woods Hole fishing and at the beach with my family, I still miss being with the Polaris Project in Siberia!
